Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Amritsar Sahib (KP) –  A decree issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib summoned the controversial speaker Sarbjit Dhunda to the Apex Sikh Throne for his blasphemous remarks regarding Gurbani Kirtan recited at Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar.
 
Details of these remarks were published on Panthic.org in the December 11th, 2011 article titled: SARBJIT DHUNDA INSULTS SRI DARBAR SAHIB KIRTAN – BACKTRACKS ON SRI JAAP SAHIB.

The Takht decree, issued on January 3rd of 2012, states that the Sikh congregation from Canada had made complaints to Sri Akal Takht Sahib and sent CDs in which the “ਅਖੌਤੀ” (purported) Sikh preacher used derogatory language when referencing the divine kirtan recited at Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. The video, originally posted at Dhunda’s own YouTube channel was recorded on July 30th, 2011 at Gurdwara Gobindgarh Kabool Nagar, Delhi.

The decree also directed the Sikh Sangat to not associate with Dhunda until he presents and clarifies himself at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

Admonishing Dhunda, the decree further stated that SachKhand Sri Harmandir Sahib is a source of inspiration for all humanity and a common spiritual abode for all faiths, and the derogatory language remarks have offended the sentiments of Sikh community worldwide.

CHANGES HIS STORY ON SRI DARBAR SAHIB

In the July 30th, 2011 video Dhunda states that certain compositions were being recited at Sri Darbar Sahib would bring prostitutes and harlots to shame. When Dunda was asked to clarify his remarks, Dhunda calculatingly stated that he was not referring to Sri Darbar Sahib (Harmandar Sahib) itself, but to a diwan held at Kahna-Dhesian where individuals were dancing in the presence of Sri Darbar Sahib.

During an interview on the Canadian Talk Show Rangla Punjab (CJMR1320), the presenter questioned Dhunda on how he could be referring to Kahna-Dhesian when no “lecherous” compositions were ever sung there?  Realizing his folly, Dhunda immediately began to deviate from the conversation and attempted to shift the story from Kahna-Dhesian to another venue.

Dhunda has repeatedly failed to provide any proof of lecherous compositions being sung in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib at Sri Darbar Sahib or any other venue.

KHALISTANI GURDWARA IGNORES AKAL TAKHT SAHIB DECREE

Despite the decree from Sri Akal Takht, Dashmesh Darbar Surrey, a key "Khalistani" Gurdwara, and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Society, Abbotsford have continued to promote Dhunda.

It should be noted that Dhunda and his cohorts from the Gurmat Gian Missionary School in Ludhiana have made similar derogatory remarks against Nitnem Banis, and Naam Simran, and stated Sri Jaap Sahib was from a Hindu granth.

Meanwhile, cohorts of Dhunda have requested Dhunda to not present himself at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, hoping he too will follow in the footsteps of heretic such as Spokesn Editor Joginder Sawhney, Gurbakhsh Kala-Afghana, and Ragi Darshan Sinh, who have all been ex-communicated from the Khalsa Panth due to their blasphemous activities.

In another older online video Dhunda is stating that Sri Jaap Sahib Bani is not written by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.  Now he has disowned that video and claims that the video was made by someone who impersonated his exact voice.  Here is a transcription of some of the extracts from this video:

Dhunda's most fervent supporter, Gurcharn Jeonwala has even gone even a step further by publicly ridiculing Sri Jaap Sahib Bani by calling it a Hindu scripture and mocking it by writing his own version of Jaap Sahib.   Here are the exact words published by Singh Sabha Canada's Jeonwala,  which is directly associated with and funding Sarbjit Dhunda’s ‘Gurmat Gian Missionary College’ (Ludhiana.)
